| Meatballs Stroganoff Serving Size : 4 Categories : Hamburger 1 pound hamburger 3 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs 2 tablespoons minced onion 1 large egg -- lightly beaten 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon vegetable oil or shortening 1 jar or can (10 to 12 ounces) beef gravy 1/4 cup sour cream hot cooked and buttered noodles 1. Gently mix together beef, bread crumbs, minced onion, egg, and seasonings. 2. Shape into about 15 meatballs. 3. In a large skillet, brown meatballs in oil; pour off excess fat. 4. Stir in gravy; cook over low heat for about 15 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through. 5. Blend in sour cream; heat through. Serve with hot cooked noodles. |
